Duncan head coach Brandon Kephart describes senior Klarissa Testa as a player who, “plays with a lot of emotion.” A quality you want in an upperclassman.
Testa is a forward for the Lady Demons and she is the subject of this Senior Shoutout!
VYPE: Klarissa, what will you remember most about your time as a Lady Demon playing basketball for Duncan and coach Kephart?
Testa: I will remember sports the most because it made a huge impact on my life. I made so many memories and friendships that I will value for a long time.
VYPE: What is the first thing you plan of doing after you graduate?
Testa: The first thing I will do after I graduate is focusing on my future in college. I plan to major in kinesiology or exercise science.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite teacher while being a student in the Duncan school system?
Testa: My favorite teacher from any grade would be my kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Edge. I will always remember how much of a positive influence she had on her students and how much she cared for us.
VYPE: What is your message to the underclassman at Duncan?
Testa: My message to the underclassmen at school is to focus on the things that bring you the most joy.
VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.
Testa: I want to give a shoutout to my family because they have been my support system ever since I started playing sports.
