In a season that’s showcased his steady growth, Armstrong has become one of the key pillars of the Demon basketball program, both on and off the court.

Averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds per game, Armstrong has provided Duncan with a dependable scoring punch and physical presence inside. His season has featured standout performances, including a 27-point, 11-rebound outing against rival MacArthur. Even more impressively, he’s scored in double figures in 18 consecutive games, a mark of his reliability night after night.

Head coach Zac Knox, who has coached Armstrong for three years and had him in class for one, praises the junior’s character as much as his talent. “Kadyn Armstrong is a high-character, hard-working student-athlete who I’ve coached for three years and had in class for one. He is currently averaging 14 points and 6 rebounds per game, highlighted by a 27-point, 11-rebound performance vs. MacArthur, and has scored in double figures in 18 consecutive games. Kadyn competes with toughness and consistency, never backs down from a challenge, and represents our program and community the right way both on the court and in the classroom,” Knox said.
