Last season did not end the way that the Demons had hoped for. But as they enter this new season, head coach Zac Knox’s squad is ready to bounce back this season. Leading the charge will be Daveon Carr (6-1, Sr.). Daveon is a long and lanky athlete that is coming into his own offensively. He is improving his outside shot to become a threat at all three levels. With a six-foot-six wingspan, he is disruptive on the defensive end. He averaged nine points per game last year in a supporting role and looks to do more this season. Desmond Dorsey (5-9, So.) is a true point guard. He is a good playmaker on the offensive end and wants the challenge to guard the other team’s best guard. After getting a small taste of varsity basketball as a freshman last year, he is ready to make his presence known. A guy to keep an eye on this season is Brandt Stocking (6-5, So.). He is a good shooter from the three point line and has good footwork inside the paint. His role this year will grow dramatically and give the Demons another scoring option. Carson Carrio (5-9, Jr.) is a hard nosed player that loves the game of basketball. In practice, he is the first person diving on loose balls and is always working hard in the weight room. Despite being undersized, he uses his physicality to compete with anyone. Other guys that will look to contribute this season are Seth Downey, Kadyn Armstrong (6-6, Jr.) , Jayzen Kortemeier (5-11, Jr.) , Reece Imel (5-10, Sr.) , and Jordan Wiggins (6-3, So.).
