The Demons had a tough season a year ago, only registering one win on the season. But first year head coach, Zac Knox, is looking to turn things around this season. “We are gearing up for a season of redemption and growth,” Knox said. “Despite last season’s challenging 1-22 record, the team’s strengths in versatility and length are bound to be game changers. The revamped schedule offers a fresh start and a chance to showcase their potential against different opponents. As our team unites with determination, the upcoming season holds the promise of exciting possibilities and a bright future on the court.” One of the key players that will have a big impact on the season is Zane Petty (6-3, Sr.). Zane is a three-year starter for Duncan. Zane’s experience and adaptability shine on the court. He’s a relentless rebounder, consistently giving his team those second-chance opportunities that can make all the difference in the game. Zane’s leadership and skills are poised to leave a lasting impact on the team as they aim for a successful season. Another guy that brings a lot to the team is Carson Carrio (5-8, So.). Carson is a dynamic player for Duncan. Despite his young age, Carson boasts an impressive basketball IQ that goes beyond his years. His ability to score at all three levels makes him a true offensive threat. Keep an eye on Carson as he continues to evolve and make his mark on the court. Mason Imel (6-4, Sr.) has an unwavering work ethic, demonstrated throughout his three-year tenure as a starter. His physicality on the court, combined with his impressive three-point shooting, make him a valuable asset to his team. More than just a quality basketball player, Jackson Conn (6-5, Sr.) is also a shining example of character and camaraderie. His unwavering positivity and constant support for his teammates make him a natural leader both on and off the court. Other players that will look to contribute this season are Jeffry Cross (5-10, Sr.), Jackson Conn (6-5, Sr.), Braydon Richey (6-0, Sr.), Daveon Carr (6-1, Jr.), Kadyn Armstrong (6-6, So.), and River Tate (5-10, So.).
