3 Questions with Alexis Giles.
VYPE: What does it mean to you to be called the unsung hero of this team?
Giles: It really is an honor for my coach to say that because she is the type that sees through many and doesn’t give you that big of a head! I believe she sees the impact I’ve made on my teammates and that is a huge compliment.
VYPE: If you were stranded on an island, who are three people you would want there with you?
Giles: Team wise, if I’m stranded on an island, I would choose Kyndle Ledford, Sheridan White, and Kaylee Harrison because not only do I trust them the most, they also have the ability to take charge or to not be afraid to make a decision.
VYPE: Who has been the biggest influence in your life, on or off the court?
Giles: My mother has been a big influence in my life because she has already shown me the qualities of being a leader and taking charge when no one else will. I would not trade her for anything.
