VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?
Taliaferro: My favorite subject in school is science because I love the hands-on learning experience that you can’t really get in any other subject. My favorite teacher is Mr. Ledford because he goes beyond being just a teacher and he is friendly to everybody.
VYPE: What is your go-to meal before every competition?
Taliaferro: Every morning before I run my dad cooks up scrambled eggs with bacon. It’s good protein and gives me plenty of energy to do my best. After races I typically eat a pretty large meal with the team.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Taliaferro: What I love most about my teammates is how we can all be really good friends. We are always encouraging each other and want the best for each other. It’s something I don’t typically see so I think it’s very special.
