The Duncan Demons Cheer team has been bringing the energy, the pride, and the spirit all year long under the leadership of head coach Jesse Milburn. With eight seniors leading the way, this year’s squad has built a reputation for hard work, unity, and infectious enthusiasm that has lifted the entire Duncan athletic community.
Coach Milburn said the team’s commitment and chemistry have made this season special from the start. “This group has worked so hard and poured their hearts into every routine, every game, and every performance,” Milburn said. “We’re really enjoying our time with our seniors and making memories that will last long after the season ends.”
Those seniors, McKenna Attaway, Jordyn Blake, Raven Chandler, Kamrie Channel, Sequioa Cobbs, Alexis Eades, Morgan Massie, and Kylee Sheppard, have been the foundation of Duncan Cheer. Each one brings her own spark to the team, and together they’ve created a culture of leadership and positivity that younger members look up to. Their dedication, discipline, and love for the program have set the tone for what promises to be an unforgettable year.
But the Demons’ cheer family is full of talent from top to bottom. Junior Lucas Fowler, the team’s male cheerleader, brings energy and strength to the group, while juniors Addalyn Miglietti and Alyssa Hopkins provide steady leadership and skill. The sophomore class, Yovanna Hernandez, Avery Milburn, Ruby Miller, Christiana Nguyen, and Landry Terry, continues to grow in confidence and talent, showing that the future of Duncan Cheer is in great hands. Meanwhile, freshmen Caroline Armstrong and Collins Budowsky have made an immediate impact, proving that the next wave of Demon cheerleaders is ready to shine.
From Friday night lights to competition floors, the Demons bring pride and passion everywhere they go. As the season continues, Coach Milburn knows this team’s hard work and heart will keep them soaring high. “It’s been such a joy to coach them,” Milburn said. “This group is special, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish together.”
